Water colour artist Judith Champion
Recently I became aware of water colour artist Judith Champion who's free flowing work I enjoy very much so I have added Judith's web site to the links page of my web page or go direct to Judith's web site directly here to view her work.

Abstract work
Many of the designs I produce will possibly never be directly used, but the methods of working in a unrestricted creative way slowly have changed my mind set and are becoming more natural due to the process of flooding while working in these ways. This in turn enables me while producing physical forms to be far more open to ways of thinking out of the round or indeed in wood.
During this I was unknowingly becoming interested more and more in 2d art based work as a creative outlet, and in particular the use of this to produce a group of designs based on wall plaques that I have previously made in wood.
These plaques originally represented various human forms through simple line art, (which came from my interest and exposure to Kanji/Japanese calligraphy). The difference with using computer based programs compared to ink and brush for me has several advantages and is another avenue that I am placing more and more time developing in my work.
The examples here are couple of my early work/experiments.
